About Penelope
I am a finalist student of Japanese at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London with experience of tutoring students of various ages in languages. I have also studied at Doshisha University in Kyoto as part of an exchange year and worked for the university in a role that allowed me to help Japanese speakers with their English abilities.

My teaching method is to use texts such as articles and stories in order to pick them apart and gain an understanding of them in relation to: grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. I also pick specific grammar structures in order to help students use these in writing.
