About Audrey
I have tutored for over 20 years, starting from when I was a student and tutoring my peers. One of my specialties with tutoring is making sure my students have a solid foundation and cover any gaps in their knowledge. Many subjects, especially math, build on top of previous knowledge so ensuring the basics are covered is essential. My tutoring style is direct, concise, but also empathetic. I let my students set the pace and provide encouragement and a calm environment throughout each tutoring session. You will never feel rushed or pressured while you are learning with me.

My teaching methodology is both personalized and patient. I believe each student deserves an individualized approach to allow them the best chance at succeeding in their academic goals. A typical lesson plan with me includes reviewing current topics, collaborating on practice problems, and developing a study plan. Together, we can build a strong foundation in the subject of your choosing and grow your confidence and skill level. My goal as a tutor is to have my students leave each session feeling confident and relaxed. Academia does not need to be stressful, and it can actually be very rewarding even in difficult subjects. I offer lessons for all levels of math and science, from elementary school to college-level, as well as test prep for standardized testing.
