About Almir
I can teach on the weekends, early morning and mid day, I prefer we study openings, teach what we have learned, join tournaments, practice puzzles, and challenge each other to teach and study the game of chess together. I am not only your teacher, I am your student as well.

I like the Catalan, Kings Indian, Sicilian, and Queen’s Gambit Declined openings and defenses. I like puzzles and theory. I like intuitive chess and I emphasize that we students do not neglect to do the work and learn sound calculation.
