About Emanuela
I am an Italian teacher moved to the UK after obtaining a Masters Degree in Linguistics at Sapienza University of Rome.
I am now completing my PGCE in Classics with the University of Sussex, which will lead me to get a QTS in Secondary Education.
Throughout the entire duration of my University studies I gained strong experience as private tutor of secondary-school students (aged between 13 and 18). During these years I taught the following subjects: Latin (language and literature), Ancient Greek (grammar), Italian (literature and grammar).
I have been working as a teacher in United Kingdom since I moved here in 2016. I have been teaching Italian and Latin as a private tutor as well as a class teacher in secondary schools and in evening courses for adults.
I am now specialising in online teaching and I look forward to supporting you on your learning journey!

My goal as a teacher is to guide students in achieving excellent results in the subjects they are studying through a personalized learning path based on their needs and cognitive styles.
I strongly believe that good teachers should tailor their teaching techniques to students' personality, especially when it comes to private tuition.
During a language learning process it is important to let students feel comfortable to communicate their thoughts in the second language. It is pivotal to accept any mistake they make and, indeed, to consider errors as a fundamental part of a learning path.
