About Laura

Hi, I’m Laura, a native Italian speaker originally from Italy and based in the UK.

My journey combines strong academic foundations with a deep passion for personal growth and communication.

I graduated with first-class honours and completed a Master’s degree, and over the years I have also built my career as a transformational coach, helping people gain clarity, confidence, and real results in different areas of their lives.

Why I teach Italian

Teaching Italian for me is not just about the language.

It’s about helping people express themselves, connect, and feel confident.

I’ve seen how many learners feel stuck, overthinking grammar, hesitating when speaking, or lacking confidence… and I love helping them break through that.

What happens in a lesson

From the very beginning, we focus on real conversation.

Depending on your level, we will:
• Practise speaking in a relaxed, supportive way
• Build vocabulary that you’ll actually use
• Improve pronunciation and fluency
• Work on grammar in context (so it finally makes sense)
• Use real-life situations (travel, daily life, conversations)

I combine language teaching with coaching techniques to help you:
• Overcome hesitation and fear of speaking
• Build confidence quickly
• Stay motivated and consistent
• Enjoy the learning process
