About Laura
Hi! My name is Laura, I am 27 years old and I am Italian. I studied Italian, Latin and Ancient Greek at "Vittorio Emanuele II", the oldest high school of my hometown Palermo.
I chose this course of study because I have always been fascinated by Italian literature (not by chance in fact my favorite writers are all Italian!), as well as by the many facets of this apparently simple but extremely insidious language.
After my diploma in 2011, I enrolled at University of Palermo, graduating in law in 2018.
During my academic career I participated in a university project that allowed me to write my degree thesis at the University of Oxford where I did a research activity at the Bodleian Law Library.
I started forensic internship in march 2018 and I qualified as a lawyer in December 2020.
In the meantime, in addition to attending the forensic school for the preparation for the qualification exam, I got the Trinity ISE II English language certification, issued by Trinity College London.
At the moment I am enrolled in Legal School "Gioacchino Scaduto"at the University of Palermo and I will achieve my postgraduate diploma in July 2021.

My lessons will mainly focus on individual and informal conversation but, if necessary, we could also speak in English.
We will study Italian grammar and vocabulary to improve more and more.
I will teach you some effective tricks and you can use them daily for your job interviews, exams or whenever you see fit.
You will learn Italian in a fast and fun way (with books, cooking recipes and videos) so you won't get bored!
During our first lesson we will talk about your interests and the reasons why you want to learn Italian so that we can prepare a study method suitable for you.
I am particularly patient and understanding because I know how difficult it can be to learn a new language (and especially as difficult as Italian!).
