I believe learning another language is important to better understand and appreciate different cultures. Italian is a pleasant language to learn due to the structure of the words full of vowels. That is why is the only language used to sing Opera. When learning the language you don't just cover grammar, comprehension, listening and speaking, but also the Italian culture. Fun, enthusiasm, friendliness are just some of the aspect of the Italian culture that you can study and possibly experience live if you decide to travel to one of the best country in the world.
