About Samantha

Ciao belli! I'm Samantha, 27, from Abruzzo, Italy.
Although my name doesn't sound very Italian, I can promise you I am! :)
Maybe, once we get to know each other in one of the lessons, I'll even reveal to you my middle names; those are very, very traditional, ahaha!
About myself: I came to Australia at the age of 19, right after having graduated from high school at Liceo Scientifico Leonardo Da Vinci, and to be honest, I thought that years of studying English grammar and literature would have set me up perfectly for my move to Aus. But then I realized it all sounds different when you're actually having a conversation with a native speaker! (Mostly, the accent, the speed, and the slang!)

What helped me a lot was continuously having conversations, and besides that, having an amazing Australian-English teacher that would simply explain things and relate them to everyday life. Well guess what? I now speak fluent English, and my aim is to have the same impact with you as my English tutor did with me!

About the lesson

My goal is to help you learn Italian in the most simple and interactive way! Shaping the lessons around your goals, I will guide you towards fluent conversations while strengthening your grammar in a practical and intuitive way.
We will also use together my experience as a native Italian speaker to have fun learning some of the most used and famous Italian slang that brings the language to life.
My lessons are for all levels, ethnicities and ages!
