About Olivia

I am a French and Italian graduate from the University of Exeter and been studying Italian for over 6 years and French for over 8. Throughout my university years have created many effective ways of learning and wish to share my tips and tricks to others!

I LOVE Italy and have lived there for over 2 years. I have obtained a fluency that comes from living in a country - not simply the language that we learn from textbooks. This means I can offer up to date conversational Italian as well as a complete guide to the grammar (I am a complete grammar nerd!) I can also offer cultural lessons as have studied a variety of modules from film to literature, from music to cooking and traditions!

I obtained a distinction in French speaking at university and am also happy to give lessons in French if required, with the same passion and enthusiast for Italian.

About the lesson

I like to base my teaching methods on my students, because as the saying goes 'one sized shoe does not fit all'! No technique is the same for everyone and I have been able to develop a range of learning styles, from my own experience and of others. From visual to thorough, from strictly grammar based to learning through topics - I really have everything to offer, as well as the passion of learning languages.

I understand the importance of the basic building blocks required to speak these languages, and want to share these with other language lovers such as myself because it really can be easy when you know the right tricks.
