About Nicola
I'm Nicola, a native Italian teacher with over a decade of experience teaching languages. I lived abroad for a long time and recently moved back to Italy.
In addition to teaching, I'm a musician, composer, and musicology researcher. I love cinema, literature, music, art, and culture, and I often use these interests to make my lessons more lively, concrete, and personal.

My lessons always begin with you: your level, your interests, and your goals.
We can work on the basics, conversation, grammar, pronunciation, listening, writing, or on understanding more complex texts. I use real materials such as films, songs, articles, dialogues, and everyday situations, so that the language feels alive and useful from the very beginning.
I firmly believe that a language is learned best in context: not as a list of rules to memorise, but as something you gradually learn to use, understand, and make your own.
And if you don’t speak Italian yet, don’t worry. I can guide you in English and walk you through everything step by step. At first, we’ll use English whenever it helps; then, little by little, we’ll move more and more into Italian, without any pressure.
