About Albert Santos

As my saying goes, "If you don't like your current life right now, have the courage to change how you want it to be". How we see things and react to it will be our path to who we are gonna become in the future. I would always received feedback from students that they don't like math, they are slow in numbers. I would always tell them even the slowest you can be as long as you make an effort to try it would change not now but in the future.

About the lesson

My most common and effective learning strategies that would suit the modern way of teaching math is collaboration and inquiry approach. It is more on teacher 10% instruction student 90% work. By this way, I can corporate lessons which they would work on with their small groups and they would come up the steps, processes the problem, and derive the solution. I am more active teacher who encourage students to speak out their ideas and let them feel confident about what their doing even small things. My classes that I am currently teaching are Pre-Algebra and Algebra which are very tough year of High School since it is the start where behavior and other changes disrupt their learning processes which I am as a teacher should be flexible, innovative, relatable, and can connect to them that math can be a fun subject to learn a lot of things in life!
