About Caline
I am 20 years of age, born in Lebanon, raised in Ghana. I speak 6 languages, three of which I speak fluently. I have earned my French Baccalaureate in 2017 and am now in my final year of the undergraduate program. I have only ever taught french lessons to my family friends’ kids but just for a month. I enjoyed it as much as they did.

Depending on the age group in question, my teaching methodology is composed of questionnaires, movies, collaborative work and games. I believe in questionnaires as a game or even a test. They give students the opportunity to formulate a range of answers by using the question as a start point. Movies in french with subtitle is one of the ways I used to learn the language. Collaborative work for me is best accomplished through a series of intellectual games. The game “phrases magiques” (meaning magic phrases) will improve vocabulary and writing skills, speaking and listening exercises will develop their comprehension skills, meeting one another will improve communication skills and lastly, role play will help improve their learnt vocabulary skills.
