About Zara
Hello! I am a second-year student at Royal Holloway studying International relations. I previously studied Biology, Chemistry and Politics at A-levels. I have informally tutored GCSE students for English, Biology and Chemistry since completing my A-levels and they have gone on to score high grades in their GCCEs ranging from grades 6-9.

I tailor every class according to each individual pupil's learning style. Personally, I have always been a very visual learner, needing plenty of images and colour to help me visualise what i am trying to learn. However, there are other individuals that may learn better by listening to audio for example. It is essential for students to understand their learning style so they can tackle difficult problems in the most effective manner. Organisation is key for efficient and smart learning, I encourage my students to have checklists of all the information they need. Therefore, after completing a topic and being tested on the content, they can be ticked off the list. When exam season comes around, the students should have a clear idea of exactly what topics they have understood and which ones will need more work.
