About Carlota
Hi! I’m a 23-year-old girl born in Madrid, and I’m half Spanish and half Italian. I’ve had the opportunity to live in Italy, Spain, Russia, Canada, and the US, which has allowed me to experience different cultures and ways of life. I completed both the IGCSE and IB programmes, so I understand the challenges students can face. I’m naturally very extroverted, love meeting and talking to new people, and enjoy helping others step outside their comfort zone and gain confidence. I’m also a huge animal lover!

I believe the best way to learn a language is through enjoyable, natural conversation. I want my students to feel completely comfortable making mistakes, as I see them as an essential part of learning—not something to be embarrassed about. I gently correct errors while helping students build confidence and express themselves naturally.
I also love helping with homework and believe creative writing is one of the best ways to improve vocabulary, grammar, expression, and overall communication skills. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, personal, and adapted to each student’s needs.
