International High Performance Table Tennis Coach in Auckland – Private Coaching for All Ages and Levels

I have known Alexey for quite a long time. He is a highly dedicated professional in table tennis with extensive experience. Having grown up in a sports family where his father was a coach, a deep understanding of coaching is one of his primary strengths.
He has a great intuition for people and athletes alike, easily understanding a person and offering both psychological and technical support. Alexey can work with players of all levels: taking a child from the very basics, guiding an intermediate player, or supporting a seasoned professional athlete. He is fully capable of accompanying players to competitions, offering technical and tactical guidance, and making crucial adjustments right in the middle of a game.

Aleksey is a great coach. Very professional and helped me improve my technique significantly after just one session with him!

I've known Alex through Auckland Table Tennis, and I can highly recommend him as a coach. He has great knowledge of the game, is very professional and genuinely passionate about helping players improve. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your game to the next level, Alex is definitely someone I'd recommend! A++

Great coach. Everything is explained clearly and in an easy-to-understand way. Very supportive, attentive, and professional. The sessions are always interesting and productive.

I have been playing table tennis at an amateur level for more than 25 years. During that time, I have attended many training camps, worked with numerous coaches, and had the opportunity to compare different approaches to the training process. And I can say that some of my very best experiences have come from training sessions and camps with Aleksey Efremov.

Aleksey is a highly skilled and professional coach. This is equally evident in his individual sessions and when he works with larger groups of players at training camps. He has an excellent feel for the pace of a session, knows how to structure the training process effectively, and at the same time always keeps each player’s individual characteristics in mind.

I would especially like to highlight his individual coaching. Aleksey has a very sharp eye for technical mistakes and for small details that players themselves often fail to notice. His comments are always specific, timely, and genuinely useful. He does not use a one-size-fits-all approach, but takes into account the player’s style, level of preparation, physical characteristics, as well as their individual strengths and weaknesses.

Another of Aleksey’s major strengths is multiball training. The tempo is always excellent, the intensity is well judged, and there is constant attention to technique. He quickly identifies mistakes and understands exactly which element needs to be emphasized in order to achieve real improvement.

For me, however, a good coach is not only someone with strong technical knowledge. Aleksey knows how to set the right goals for an athlete, motivate them, maintain their interest in training, and inspire an even greater love for table tennis. This is a special coaching skill that, in my opinion, many otherwise good specialists do not have.

Aleksey delivers real results. That is why I always look forward to our training sessions and greatly value his advice. I can confidently recommend him as a high-level professional to anyone who wants not just to play table tennis, but to genuinely improve and develop a deeper understanding of their game.

I’m really grateful to have such a great table tennis coach. He has helped me improve my technique and become a better player, always paying attention to the details and giving me useful advice. He is very supportive, patient, and always willing to help whenever I need it. I really appreciate all the time, effort, and guidance he puts into my development as a player.

I only started taking table tennis lessons with Aleksey recently, but I’m already impressed by his coaching. He explains things clearly and has a great eye for technique. He makes it easy to understand what to work on and how to improve. I’d happily recommend him to anyone, whether you’re fairly new to table tennis or already have experience.

I want to say a huge thank you to Alexey for his professionalism and personalized approach. There's always a great, collaborative atmosphere during training. Alexey thoroughly analyzes technical nuances (serving, footwork, spin) and helps correct old mistakes. The results are visible at every training session. In a short time, my game has reached a completely new level. I'm happy to continue our training. I highly recommend Alexey to anyone who wants to improve their game, he’s an excellent coach!!!
