About Stephen
Hi, my name is Stephen. I look forward to tutoring you in English Literature, History, Psychology or any subject area that you are struggling in. I am a college graduate, having graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I am also a graduate of the International Baccalaureate program from Rockville High School where a variety subjects were studied at advanced levels. I have 60 credits completed in a Cybersecurity Degree so I am well versed in using technology. I look forward to helping you in the subjects that you are struggling in and help you achieve your goals of class completion and further learning.

Teaching Method: Let students ask questions about literature or the subject that they need help in. Use past knowledge of these subjects and the help of the internet, diagrams, and life experiences to find solutions to what they are struggling with.
Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Figure out what piece of the literature or writing assignment the student is having a hard time with
2. Talk to them about it and brainstorm ideas of ways they could solve the problem and complete the assignment
3. Use diagrams and graphics as needed to help the student understand the prompt or assignment
4. Use personal examples from the real world to help put the assignment or struggle area in perspective
What Makes Me Unique as a Tutor:
1. I have tutored students in the past in basic grammar, basic algebra and geometry in order to help them get their GED or complete the class they were trying to raise their grade in
2. In high school I was a graduate of the IB Program where a variety of subjects were covered at advanced levels. Writing essays and learning different perspectives on subjects were essential in this program.
3. I have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, which helps me relate to and understand people
4. I also have completed 60 Credits of a Cybersecurity degree, which makes me well versed in using computers and technology
5. I speak intermediate conversational Spanish
Who are the lessons for:
Mainly I would be looking to tutor High School and Early College Students in whatever area they are struggling in. I am proficient in History, Psychology, Sociology, and English Literature and Commentaries. I would be okay with tutoring students in basic algebra or geometry.
