About Iris
Earning a BM in piano and voice from Boston Conservatory at Berklee provided the technical bedrock for my 13 years of experience. After 8 years performing in NYC and on tour, I pivoted to helping others master the keys. I have supported 264 students in developing their technical command and musicality.
My teaching style remains energetic and focused on tangible progress during every single practice session. I emphasize the importance of posture and hand position for long-term success. You will find my approach is refreshingly honest regarding the effort required to excel at the piano.
