About Zakkiya
I am experienced in the interior architecture field with 8 years of teaching and leadership experience in Higher Education. I have practice experience in global retail design and am passionate about education and research in my field. I have taught students in Africa, Asia, and the United Kingdom. I have served in the prestigious role of Co-opted Expert Board Member for the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers. I love seeing my students through to accomplishing their vision in interior design and help them achieve their potential. I believe in their creativity and individual impact. My teaching style is nurturing, warm, and encouraging.
