About Lana
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 14 years of teaching experience working with school students, college students, and working professionals. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed helping students from different backgrounds discover the joy of music and build confidence in their abilities.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and personalized learning. I believe that every student has unique goals and learns at a different pace. Therefore, I carefully adapt my lessons to match each student's needs while creating a positive and supportive environment.
Over the years, I have successfully guided many students in improving their technique, musical understanding, and overall confidence. One of my proudest achievements has been seeing students progress from complete beginners to confident violin players who truly enjoy performing and expressing themselves through music.
I aim to make learning enjoyable and meaningful while helping students develop a lifelong appreciation for music. My goal is to inspire every student to reach their highest potential.

My teaching philosophy focuses on compassion, communication, and individual support. I understand that every student has different strengths and challenges, so I adjust my teaching methods to match their needs and learning style.
For violin lessons, I focus on technical accuracy, rhythm, tone quality, and musical interpretation. I use simple explanations and practical demonstrations to help students understand concepts clearly and confidently.
I maintain open communication and provide regular encouragement to help students stay motivated. Positive reinforcement and patience are important parts of my teaching process because they help students enjoy learning and believe in their abilities.
Besides violin, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and related music subjects that strengthen overall musicianship.
My aim is to help students achieve their goals while building confidence and a lasting love for music.
