About Zari
I am a passionate Physics tutor with over 3 years of experience helping students understand challenging scientific concepts. I hold a BSc in Space and Planetary Science, which gives me a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied physics. My main focus is supporting high school students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level Physics examinations.
I believe that strong understanding begins with clear explanations and careful step-by-step learning. My lessons focus on building a solid foundation so students feel confident tackling complex problems. Physics becomes much easier when the logic behind each concept is clear.
I specialise in core topics such as Mechanics, Electricity, and Waves. These areas are essential for exam success, so I guide students through detailed derivations and structured problem solving. This helps students understand where formulas come from and how to apply them correctly.
Practical demonstrations and simple experiments are often included to connect theory with real-world observations. I also work extensively with past exam papers to help students recognise patterns and improve exam technique.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand physics deeply while preparing them for strong exam performance. I believe that clear concepts and consistent practice are the keys to mastering physics. Every lesson is designed to strengthen both understanding and confidence.
I teach important topics such as mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves, optics, and introductory modern physics. These areas are carefully reviewed so students build a solid conceptual foundation before moving on to more challenging problems. Understanding the basics always comes first.
My methodology includes targeted drills, structured problem-solving practice, and regular practice tests designed for AP Physics preparation. Students learn how to break down complex questions into manageable steps. This improves both accuracy and speed.
Exam strategy is also an important part of my lessons. I guide students in managing time, identifying key information in questions, and avoiding common mistakes during tests. Practice with exam-style problems builds familiarity and confidence.
