About Sophie
Hello! I’m Sophie Turner, and I enjoy helping students learn guitar and ukulele in a fun, simple, and interactive way. With 6 years of experience teaching beginner and intermediate students, I focus on helping learners improve confidence and creativity through practical learning systems. I studied at University of Nevada, where I specialized in contemporary music and guitar studies. I received the Infinite Strings Inspiration Medal and the Electric Rhythm Excellence Trophy for helping students improve musical confidence and creativity. Outside teaching, I enjoy acoustic performances, fingerstyle practice, and exploring new music genres.

My guitar and ukulele lessons help students improve rhythm, chord transitions, fingerstyle playing, improvisation, and stage confidence through practical and easy learning systems. I explain musical techniques in a simple step-by-step way so students can improve comfortably and enjoy every lesson.
Lessons are conducted on Zoom or Microsoft Teams with live demonstrations, chord practice, rhythm exercises, and interactive music activities.
