About Kirsten
I feel that a student can do any assignment as long as they set their mind in action. I always teach my students to be organized and to make a plan of action as to what needs to be done. Create a checklist and mark it off, not only does this ensure that they have done everything they need to it also builds their confidence in showing that it’s done, they did it!
I also strongly believe that reassurance is the key in creating a confident young adult.

I work in the high school level, specializing in grades 10 and below. I like to approach my work with the student telling me what they have to do, of course making sure it is correct then setting up a plan of what we will do to get the assignment done. I have worked in special education for 9 years so I like to take “the making a plan” approach. This way it sets the student up for success in future.
