About Jamie
I am an experienced violin instructor with 12 years of tutoring experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. Music has always been my passion, and I enjoy sharing that passion with students of all ages and experience levels.
My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to grow. I believe that patience, consistency, and positive feedback are essential for successful learning. Every lesson is customized according to the student's individual goals and learning style.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have helped many students strengthen their technical skills and gain confidence in their playing. One of my notable achievements has been helping students develop from beginners into independent musicians with a genuine love for music.
I strive to make every lesson enjoyable, productive, and inspiring for my students.

I follow a student-centered teaching style that values compassion, supportiveness, and clear communication. I believe that each student deserves personalized guidance and a learning experience that suits their abilities and aspirations.
In violin classes, I focus on posture, bow control, intonation, rhythm, and note reading. I break down challenging topics into smaller steps and use practical activities to make lessons easier to understand.
I provide continuous support and encourage students to celebrate their progress. Through patience and positive feedback, I help students overcome difficulties and remain motivated.
Apart from violin, I teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm development. These subjects provide students with a stronger musical foundation and help them become more confident musicians.
My mission is to help students grow musically while developing discipline, creativity, and self-confidence.
