About Etta
As a Guitar tutor with 17 years of experience, I have helped many students develop their musical skills and confidence. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who are passionate about learning guitar.
My teaching approach focuses on creating an engaging and supportive learning experience. I adapt my lessons to match each student's goals, whether they want to learn for fun, academic purposes, or performance opportunities.
Students learn essential guitar techniques including chords, scales, rhythm patterns, fingerstyle methods, and performance skills. I also provide guidance in music theory, ear training, songwriting, and musical creativity to support overall musical growth.
My unique skill lies in making learning simple and enjoyable. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive activities that help students understand concepts quickly and apply them confidently. I am dedicated to helping every learner reach their full musical potential.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion, communication, and supportiveness. I believe that every student has a unique way of learning, and my responsibility as a teacher is to understand their strengths, challenges, and personal goals. I create a positive and friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning without fear of making mistakes.
I teach Guitar through a structured step-by-step process. For beginners, I focus on posture, hand positioning, finger exercises, rhythm understanding, basic chords, and simple songs. Once students become comfortable with the fundamentals, I gradually introduce scales, chord progressions, fingerstyle techniques, strumming patterns, improvisation, and performance skills. This gradual approach helps students build confidence and develop strong technical abilities.
I strongly believe that consistency is more important than speed. Therefore, I encourage students to maintain regular practice routines and set achievable goals. I provide constructive feedback after every lesson and continuously monitor progress to ensure steady improvement.
Apart from Guitar, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear training, basic music reading, and songwriting concepts. These additional subjects help students understand music more deeply and become complete musicians rather than only learning to play songs.
My classes are interactive and student-friendly. I adapt my teaching methods according to the age and learning level of each student, whether they are school students, college students, or working professionals. My ultimate goal is to help students build confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong love for music while making every lesson enjoyable and meaningful.
