About Elena
Music is one of the most powerful ways to express emotion, and teaching guitar allows me to guide students in finding their own voice. With 14 Master's degrees in Music, I bring formal training, performance experience, and years of teaching expertise to every lesson. Lessons begin with core techniques like posture, finger placement, chord transitions, strumming, rhythm, and tone, gradually progressing to improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is introduced in practical ways, helping students understand and apply concepts effectively. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace, goals, and musical preferences, fostering motivation and confidence.
I emphasise both technical proficiency and expressive playing, helping students communicate emotion through their instrument. Ear training, sight-reading, and performance exercises are included to develop well-rounded musicianship. Students explore genres such as classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop to expand their musical knowledge. Structured practice routines, feedback, and guidance help learners overcome challenges while maintaining engagement. Milestones are celebrated to reinforce progress and build confidence. I encourage creativity, improvisation, and personal composition to help students develop their unique musical voice. Lessons balance discipline, technique, and artistic freedom to ensure effective learning. Over time, students gain technical mastery, artistic expression, and performance confidence. Teaching guitar is more than instruction—it is mentorship, inspiration, and artistic collaboration. My ultimate goal is to empower students to play with creativity, authenticity, and confidence. Every lesson is an opportunity to nurture skill, passion, and lifelong love for music.

With every lesson, I aim to inspire confidence, creativity, and consistency. Holding Master's degrees in Music, I’ve trained in both the technical and emotional sides of guitar performance. My lessons focus on building strong fundamentals while keeping learning fun and personalised. I teach proper technique, rhythm, and tone control, then expand into improvisation and performance. I make music theory clear and applicable, showing how it connects directly to what you play.
My approach is supportive and encouraging—I believe that progress grows best in a positive environment. I adapt lessons to suit your pace and style, ensuring that every class feels achievable and enjoyable. You’ll learn to play songs that inspire you while strengthening your skills. I also provide feedback, practice plans, and creative challenges to keep motivation high. My goal is to help you play with confidence, freedom, and heart. Teaching music is not just my profession—it’s my passion and purpose.
