About Thomas
I am a committed Saxophone tutor with 15+ years of experience and have successfully guided around 150 students in developing their musical abilities. I teach students of all levels and focus on steady, meaningful progress.
My teaching style is student-centered and encouraging. I tailor lessons to suit each learner’s pace and interests, creating a positive and motivating learning environment. I believe learning music should be both disciplined and enjoyable.
Lessons focus on building strong fundamentals such as proper breathing, embouchure control, tone quality, finger coordination, and rhythm accuracy. As students advance, I introduce expressive playing techniques, improvisation, and performance skills.
In addition to saxophone performance, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training. My goal is to help students become confident, expressive saxophone players with a strong musical foundation.

I follow a progressive and practical methodology while teaching Saxophone, centered on Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I start with breathing exercises and long-tone practice to develop a rich, stable sound. As students progress, I introduce scales, articulation patterns, rhythm exercises, and expressive musical interpretation.
I explain the purpose of each exercise so students understand its effect on both technique and musicality. Weekly structured goals maintain accountability and steady progress. I monitor performance carefully and provide honest guidance. Integrity ensures patience, dedication, and professional support. In addition to Saxophone lessons, I teach Music Theory, Jazz fundamentals, Ensemble skills, and Stage Performance preparation.
