About Betsy
Hi I am an experienced Spanish tutor with over 10 years of teaching college students, and I focus on making Spanish accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful.
My lessons are interactive, student-centred, and adaptive, allowing learners to progress at their own pace while using methods that suit them best.
I use modern teaching strategies, including digital tools, multimedia exercises, role-playing, conversation practice, games, and real-life scenarios, to make grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation more approachable and effective. I also incorporate cultural lessons, helping students understand Spanish-speaking countries, their traditions, and everyday expressions.
My goal is to help students build fluency, confidence, and practical communication skills, all in a motivating and supportive environment that makes learning Spanish enjoyable.

I teach Spanish using a methodology centred on motivation, communication, creativity, and time management to provide students with lessons that are engaging, practical, and effective.

Time management ensures consistent progress; I guide students in planning practice, structuring study sessions, and setting achievable goals.
