About Mike
I'm a teacher in a local secondary school. I have experience teaching and tutoring over 15 years. My experience has involved English and EfL, as well as Politics and Sociology, Religious Studies and Citizenship. I have lost track of the numbers of students I have taught, but they have included students of all ages, interests, base levels, and numerous needs and every age.

My teaching is highly personalised. I start by extensively evaluating every aspect of the student's prior grasp of the subject area - not just knowledge but also ability to analyse, extend and link to related focuses. Having previously worked as a resource developer for an educational company I have the skills and experience to then create a bespoke scheme of learning in which the long term results can be expected to be highly positive.
