I am an avid musician of 14 years who benefited from private tuition as a teenager and went on to study music at Perth collage.
I have had several informal students over the years, many of whom have grown into fantastic musicians and friends.
I am very interested in sharing my love and understanding of music with anyone at any level of skill.

When I first began studying guitar, after a period of time I became frustrated with the fact that the material I was learning was not in line with what I most enjoyed about music. I became disenchanted with my instrument and my learning slowed.
My method is to really gain understanding of what my student wants to accomplish, what they are most enthusiastic about and find intuitive in the musical realm; and then to tailor lessons to offer quick gratification and progression toward THEIR goals.
I find that every time, as a persons love of the art grows the horizon of knowledge they wish to gain will broaden naturally.
Music should be fun and gratifying, first and foremost.
