About Audrey
My name is Ms. Audrey. I come from a family of patient and loving teachers and Professors. I have a Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. I am a Reading and Math Specialist and am also Gifted Certified. I have worked with children on all learning levels as well. I have over 350 Professional Educational Elementary School hours from teacher group sessions. I have taught gifted 1st through 6th grade classes. I love to teach students how to read, comprehension strategies, write creatively, spell properly, and score higher on standardized assessments. I love teaching children the new Math. Let's face it, it's quite different from the way we grew up. I have also helped many students get into the top private schools in the North Atlanta area as well.

I collect data from assessment and work toward filling learning gaps and addressing any struggling areas. I will create and purchase materials (included) and make a plan to reach mastery. Individualized teaching based data is the approach. I'm a Gifted Certified Teacher and Reading/Math Specialists with a Masters Degree. My biggest accomplishment was teaching two 1st Graders to read on a high school level. I still teach the same method and have been successful at it. I tutor Preschool to 8th. I test prep for all standardized testing such as MAP, Georgia Milestone, iReady, CoGAT, GATE, Prek Assessment, etc. I can teach anyone to read and I will work up to college level with essays and research papers only.
