About Elektra

I am an incoming Oxford languages undergraduate, (French and Modern Greek ab initio). I studied French, Politics, English Literature and History at A Level, achieving A*A*AA. I am an experienced debater, competing in national and international debating competitions in both French and English. I am fluent in English, French and Romanian.

About the lesson

I help students build confidence, clarity, and the ability to think and communicate effectively—skills that lead not only to stronger academic performance, but long-term success.

My sessions focus on developing structured thinking, clear argumentation, and confident expression. Whether preparing for exams, interviews, or competitions, students learn how to organise their ideas, respond under pressure, and communicate with precision. I offer personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student’s goals, with a strong emphasis on measurable progress and practical improvement.

Sessions can include targeted practice, live exercises, and detailed feedback to ensure students understand exactly how to improve. As an Oxford student, I bring first-hand insight into the level of thinking and communication expected at top universities, while maintaining a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

My Approach
I don’t just focus on content—I teach students how to think. Each session is carefully structured to build confidence, independence, and the ability to perform under pressure. Students learn how to organise their ideas quickly, communicate clearly, and apply their knowledge effectively in exams and interviews.
