About Lisa
I teach both French and English conversation for learners who want to improve their speaking confidence.
I am a native French speaker who has been living and working in London for over 10 years. During this time I have worked in Sales, Business Development and Marketing in English-speaking environments.
When I first moved to the UK to finish my studies, my English was far from fluent despite years of learning it at school. Living and working in English every day taught me that language improves most through real communication and consistent conversation, not just grammar exercises.
Because I have experienced learning and mastering a second language myself, I understand the challenges learners face when trying to express ideas clearly and confidently.
Today I help students improve their spoken French or English through natural conversation and structured guidance, helping them build confidence and fluency.
My lessons are particularly suited for motivated learners who already have some basic knowledge of the language and want to practise speaking in a relaxed but structured environment.

Our first session will focus on understanding your current level, your objectives and the situations where you would like to feel more confident using the language.
Lessons are based mainly on conversation and real-life topics, allowing you to practise expressing ideas while receiving corrections and vocabulary suggestions naturally throughout the discussion.
During our lessons we may work on:
• improving fluency and confidence speaking
• expanding vocabulary and natural expressions
• improving pronunciation
• discussing real-life topics or professional situations
• structuring ideas clearly in conversation
My goal is to help you communicate more naturally and confidently.
The first session (30 minutes) allows us to evaluate your level and discuss your objectives before starting regular lessons.
