About Lara
My name is Lara
I'm actually a horse riding instructor, so you can imagine I've drawn quite a few horses in my time
Art is one of the ways that I calm my anxiety and has helped me cope throughout the years.
I would have loved to have someone who could come alongside me to help me navigate the art world and challengeme in my art skills, without the pressure of there being a time limit to complete my pieces.
I want to help students keep art as an escape while helping them better their craft.

I focus on drawing with pen (covering various shading techniques, biting the bullet and drawing with pen can be scary, but really does help improve all areas of your skill and ability), pointillism (stippling - this can be great fun and helps you to look at how you approach a new artwork through a different lense) and I can give you pointers for pencil drawings.
