About DJ
Every person has the potential to be a great improvisor. It's not about being the funniest, loudest or zaniest person in the room. It's simply by showing the audience what makes you, you. My name is DJ, and the proudest accomplishments I've held in my professional life is seeing my students thrive on-stage. I, as a performer, have won improv competitions, performed acclaimed sets and produced shows that have had peers in the improv community praising them years afterwards. But what I find myself bragging most about in my career is that every one of the students I've had, that have shown dedication and drive, have been performing professional level improvisational theatre within the first year.
I'm excited to being my next course with a new batch of eager students.

These improv lessons dive into the theory of comedy, storytelling, & relationship dynamics. Through this course we'll discover your theatrical voice, based on your strengths as well as how you best work with others. These lessons will focus on developing your ability to read scenes, in order to provide unique twists and retellings of classic tropes and genres. You'll find the courses challenging, engaging and (most importantly) fun.
