About Rohit
I am a current medical student at Imperial College London in my third year of studies. Science enthusiast and can provide plenty of insight into the Medical admissions process including entrance exams, personal statement and interview preparation. Have been a tutor on another tutoring platform for their schools programme. I have had prior experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level subjects over the last 3 years - online and in-person. Because of this, I am familiar with how to use online whiteboard learning platforms via Zoom, Skype etc.

I am a Constructive tutor, and will help the student to identify areas of weakness and help to improve them accordingly whilst also acknowledging their areas of strength and giving them their due credit for such. Will emphasise on how to take their consolidated knowledge and apply them to their specific exam boards style of questioning as this proves to be the most effective way to achieve the desirable marks. Will use past paper questions specific to the students specification regularly in order to instil confidence in the application of their knowledge to achieve the required answers. I also use a recapping technique during lessons which involves going through the agreed content at the start of the lesson, and asking for regular summaries of what they have learnt at intervals throughout the lesson. This may come in the format of asking the pupil to produce a mind map or a summary of notes containing all that they remember from the session. I have found this extremely effective myself in the past, as it helps to consolidate knowledge thoroughly.
