About Rocel
I have previous experiences in tutoring primary and secondary school students privately in their own home, as well as at school, in various core subjects including Maths, Sciences, and English. For instance, as a reading mentor, I encouraged students with reading difficulties to enjoy and actively participate in reading. This involved one-on-one sessions with students to discuss books in appropriate depth, to promote greater comprehension and appreciation.
Additionally, I have tutored first-year (university), Erasmus and International students in Biological Sciences, including teaching during an internship in Japan. I was also a peer mentor for 10-15 students per year during my undergraduate degree, as a friendly point of contact, and provided advice such as regarding academic, financial and personal matters. These experiences have allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills, and hence I am able to build rapport with a wide range of individuals.

I am a recent MSc Molecular Medicine graduate from Imperial College London, where I completed my degree with a Distinction (First Class). I also have a prior degree in BSc Biological Sciences with an Upper Second Class Honours classification, and A-Levels in Biology, Psychology and English.
I now tutor online in Biology to primary and secondary school students (up to KS3), GCSE and A-Level students (KS4&5), and selected Biology or related modules at University-level.
