About Nadia

A graduate of Imperial College London, achieving a 1st class honours in Biological Sciences (BSc) and a Distinction in Molecular and Cellular Biosciences (MRes). Prior I achieved A*s in Biology at both A level and GCSE. I have a genuine passion for Biology and believe I can teach it in an engaging and interesting way. I am patient, understanding and welcome all questions that students may have. I have taught students from year 7- university level and have experience with most/ all of the major UK exam boards.

About the lesson

All my lessons are unique and tailored towards the student, a basic plan of what I will provide is as follows... - My lessons will initially consist of identifying topics which students do not feel comfortable in - Upon identification, together we will both go through the topic(s) to help provide a better understanding. This will be through questions, textbooks, handouts and personalised worksheets - Once the student feels more comfortable with said topics, I will provide past paper questions for homework. In the following lesson, we will go through areas in which the student struggled and revisit the topic(s) - Nearer the exam period we will work to complete full past papers and work on how to structure answers for the exams and how examiners will grade student answers - I can be easily reached outside of lessons if students have questions, which will prevent them from being stuck until our next tutorial.
