About Maria
I am a third year biochemistry student at Imperial College London preparing students of different levels for their GCSEs/A-levels and entry exams to the top UK universities. I have completed several training programs, including the tutoring program at Action Tutoring for children of a wide age range. Successfully taught around 30 students over the last 4 years and improved their educational progress in both Biology and Chemistry.

As a professional teacher I am caring, passionate, enthusiastic and excited about providing engaging and challenging learning experiences. My aim is to assist, encourage and support students to achieve their learning goals. Maria is an amazing tutor!! She helped me with A-level biology during my final year exam preparation and with her help I got a first class mark in biology. This helped me meet my UCAS requirements for both UCL and Imperial College!! She has an excellent understanding in the subject, she can relate things to one another within biology/chemistry and the way she explains things is very easy to understand and remember.
Would highly recommend!She is the most amazing tutor I’ve ever had ever! Very very intelligent and has an amazing approach to learning. She puts things in a perspective which is so easy to understand, even when it comes to things like DNA fragments and cloning. I’m very upset that I can’t have her over to help me anymore due to the current situation however she’s helped my learning strategy and confidence in retaining new information!!
Maria was teaching me Russian for several years as I needed to move to Moscow for my internship. I successfully passed the language test and received the B2 level certificate!! Highly recommend!
