Hi, I’m Alastair — a qualified doctor with an MBBS and BSc from Imperial College London. I’m passionate about helping students succeed, whether that’s securing a place at medical school, mastering A-level Biology, or navigating the challenges of a medical degree. Having completed medical school myself, I understand how overwhelming academic pressure can feel. I’m here to make the journey easier by breaking complex topics into clear, manageable steps and supporting you every step of the way. I have delivered hundreds of hours of tutoring to students from GCSE through to university level, always adapting to different learning styles and goals. My approach to tutoring is tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. I believe in adapting my teaching style depending on how a student learns best — whether that’s breaking down complex topics step-by-step, focusing on active recall and exam technique, or building deeper conceptual understanding. Lessons are typically 1 hour long and conducted online, offering flexibility and accessibility wherever you are. I am a qualified doctor with an MBBS and BSc from Imperial College London, and have completed hundreds of hours of tutoring across a wide range of students, from GCSE and A-level pupils to medical school applicants and current university students. Whether you need support with Biology, Anatomy, Medical School admissions (including UCAT/BMAT prep), or help with university-level Medicine, I can tailor lessons to suit your level, learning style, and ambitions.
