About Susanna
I graduated from Imperial College London with a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences. In my final year, I specialised in Neuroscience as this is of particular interest to me, and I was awarded a prize in the Neuroscience module for achieving highest mark in the year. I was also mentioned on the Dean's List prize for academic achievement overall. Throughout my degree I enjoyed studying a range of other topics including Developmental Biology, Biochemistry, Plant Biology, and Genetics, as well as some laboratory research in Molecular Genetics.
Since graduating, I completed a Master's degree at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) on viola performance, with a specialism in Psychology, and graduated with Distinction. I now work as a freelance orchestral musician and violin teacher, as well as continuing my Biology tutoring. I have stayed involved with Neuroscience through attending reading groups and seminars, and I maintain a particular interest in the Cognitive Neuroscience relating to music and musicians.

I offer one-to-one or group lessons on GCSE and A-level Biology. I follow current information on course content and provide exam-style practice questions to test understanding. Above all, I aim to make the lessons engaging and interesting, in the hope that it generates a real curiosity and enjoyment for the subject.
