About Faziha
I’m an undergraduate at IIUM majoring in Islamic Finance, but my passion for teaching English started in secondary school, when I was selected as a “Little Teacher” to teach other students. Since then, I’ve continued teaching through volunteer programs, working with Orang Asli, refugee, stateless, and minority communities both locally and internationally.
I chose IIUM partly for its international environment, which has helped me strengthen my own English. I don’t believe English is only for A+ students or confident public speakers. I want to help students see that English is accessible to everyone, regardless of their starting point, and create a comfortable space where they can improve at their own pace and build genuine confidence.
