About Hemaa
Hi! I’m a student who achieved an A in IGCSE Biology, and I’m passionate about helping others improve in a subject that can sometimes feel overwhelming.
I wasn’t always good at Biology, I actually improved from an E to an A. That experience taught me that the right explanations and techniques can make a huge difference, and it’s the reason I want to teach.
I understand how frustrating it can be to feel lost in class or unsure how to answer exam questions, and I want to help students overcome that. I was always the one kid that never understood anything in class initially. My goal is to make Biology simpler, more understandable, and less stressful.
Teaching also allows me to share the methods that worked for me and help students gain confidence in their abilities, not just memorize content.

I scored an A in IGCSE Biology and improved from an E to an A whilst also having ADHD, so I understand the common struggles students face and how to overcome them effectively. My lessons are especially helpful for students who feel lost, overwhelmed, or want to improve their exam performance.
My teaching methodology focuses on simplifying complex biology concepts, breaking topics down into easy-to-understand explanations, and applying them through exam-style questions by referring to past papers. I also emphasize exam techniques, so you’ll learn how to answer questions clearly and score marks effectively, not just memorize content.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes and is structured to include explanation, guided practice, and active student participation to build confidence and understanding.
My lessons are suitable for IGCSE students of all levels, mostly year 10 and 11 students.
