About Sarah
I’m a qualified doctor, half English and half Maltese, and I’ve always had a strong interest in learning, teaching and communication.
During medical school, I was Academic Coordinator within the Malta Medical Students’ Association, where I organised study sessions, created educational resources and supported fellow students with their learning. I also hold a Level 1 Coaching Certificate with Badminton Europe and spent two years helping to coach young players.
I’m naturally organised and enjoy finding simple, clear ways to explain things. I like getting to know the person I’m teaching and adapting my approach to suit them.
Outside of medicine, I’m a very active person with lots of interests. I love reading and writing, and I’m currently working on my own murder mystery novel! ️
I’m excited to share my love of English and help students feel more confident using it in everyday life.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to your individual goals, level and learning style. I’m organised and like to create structured lessons with clear objectives, while keeping them relaxed, friendly and enjoyable.
Lessons are usually 50–60 minutes and can include conversation, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading and writing. I can also help with exam preparation and study planning, creating a clear structure to help you feel confident and prepared.
As a doctor, I’m used to studying, preparing for exams and explaining ideas clearly. I also have experience coaching badminton and supporting fellow students during medical school.
I welcome students of different ages and levels, and my goal is simply to make you feel comfortable, supported and confident while improving your English!
