About Nathan

Hi! My name is Nathan, why do I like to teach? All of my friends are from other countries, so all my life I've been talking with and helping people from other countries learn English. Teaching English is a vital part of both my personal and professional lives! My hobbies are: cycling, hiking, climbing, movies and games, but I'd love to hear about your interests! What is my background? With my CELTA certificate, I have been teaching since December 2023, including working for a school in Italy, where I started gaining experience for exam preparation under guidance of senior staff. In 2025, I'm very proud to say that 100% of my students have achieved above their target grades in exams! I have even taken the IELTS exam myself, and plan to take the CAE in 2026.

About the lesson

From my experience helping students, I've created many resources to help you in your journey, including a personalised tracker document available to you 24/7. It breaks down your scores for each section of the exam, allowing you to identify your strengths and weaknesses easily. I'll happily show this to you during our trial lesson!

In my exam preparation, I believe it's essential for students to understand the marking criteria. In our lessons, the techniques I recommend are built upon the criteria to help you achieve higher bands.

Additionally, I always provide written feedback each lesson. Depending on your needs, this could be noting grammar mistakes, vocabulary mistakes, or perhaps just some general feedback related to the criteria.
