About Johanna
I graduated from the IB in May 2018 with a score of 42 points. I received the highest score of 7 in the subjects English Language and Literature and History, both at higher level, and the subject Environmental Systems and Societies, at standard level. I also recieved the full 3 points for TOK and my History EE, in which I got an A. I have previously helped other fellow students studying for exams, planning and writing essays and understanding various concepts.
I am passionate in all subjects I offer, and still own many of the detailed notes and flashcards made that helped me pass, as well as an understanding of what each subject requires in terms of mental approach, skill, content and style. I am eager to pass on my knowledge to fellow IB students to help them understand, learn and most of all enjoy as much as they can from the subjects they've chosen.

I am happy to teach anybody in the last three years of school taking - or thinking of taking - the IB who needs support and tutoring in the subjects of English Language and Literature, History or Environmental Systems and Societies.
Lesson structure will vary depending on what is required, and will continue tailored exactly to what the student needs.
The first lesson will consist of establishing what the student wants to achieve and where support is needed. The following lessons will work on building up to achieving that, through various methods both theoretical and practical.
I generally approach each topic for each subject from the IB syllabus points outwards, making sure every aspect is covered and secure before moving on to the next. This will require cooperation and communication so any areas of doubt can be tackled directly and as succinctly as possible.
The lessons will be a fun, informative and supportive addition to and enhancement of the IB subjects the student will already be taking, organised in a flexible, relaxed yet conscientious manner and personalised to support the unique needs of the individual student.
