About María José
Hi, my name is María José and I´m studying my bachelor degree in Human Nutrition as an international student in Halifax. I decided coming to Canada because I love English and this country had always woke my curiosity up. I love meeting people from all over the world and I´ll be glad to be your nutritional conselor. I offer two types of dietary advice methods:
The group sessions would consist of a series of classes where students can learn practical nutritional concepts that can empower them in pursuing a healthy lifestyle (for example, how to make a good purchase or how to interpret nutritional labels).
On the other hand, in individually sessions we will perform a nutritional evaluation on the first day where the nutritional status of the individual will be determined.
From here we will make gradual dietary modifications so the individual can easily improve eating habit. We will keep track of the progress by monitoring the weight, fat percentage and muscle mass percentage evolution.
In both programs we will reserve a part of the sessions to answer questions or explain topics of the students' taste. We can even make a visit to the supermarket to put into practice the knowledge acquired.
