About Amanda
I am a recent Human Kinetics graduate (with a minor in psychology) from one of the top schools in the world (UBC). Throughout my high school and university career, I achieved honour roll and dean's list. I have even received to scholarships for my exceptional grades. I understand the difficulties school can bring and the stresses it can inflict on our daily lives. As a tutor, I want to help alleviate some of that stress! I have a lot of experience working with different populations, age groups and abilities. I do my best to include multiple different methods into my teaching to assure that all learning styles are accounted for!

As a tutor, I understand each student has a different learning style and I create extensive lesson plans tailored to each student. I start each lesson plan doing an overview of the topic and then dive into the details. At the end of each lesson, I provide a quiz to test your knowledge! I will provide feedback on each quiz question and will review incorrect questions to assure that you understand each concept.
Lessons are for any high school or undergraduate student wanting to depend their understanding of the human body or biology or psychology (ie. anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, genetics, biology, psychology).
