About Kara
I completed a 4-year undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics, graduating with distinction. I am currently in my 2nd year of my master's of occupational therapy. I grew up playing rep hockey and softball, as well as doing competitive gymnastics. I still love playing sports, going to the gym, and being active with my friends. I have 2 younger siblings who I love to hang out with (and help them with their homework). I have lots of experience with human science and have such a love for anatomy! I love helping people and watching them succeed. I have lots of knowledge I would love to pass down!

I share my screen with students to ensure there are visual and verbal learning strategies to my sessions. I provide tips and tricks, practice questions and session resources with students. I offer the experience of learning these topics from multiple different teachers, in multiple different learning styles that I can share with students. I can relate to the students as I am someone who is still going through schooling. I offer a very calm, supportive environment with regular check in points during sessions. As a student who used to struggle to ask for help, I just want all my students to feel comfortable and supported.
