About Reagan
Hi! My Name is Reagan,
I hold a Master's Degree in Human Genetics and Genomics from Southern California University of Health Sciences, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a minor in computer science from the University of Mary Washington. Both of these degrees I earned with Honors :).
While I was in college, I worked at a Girl Scout camp, teaching STEM! I'm pretty creative when it comes to finding fun and interesting ways to learn about a topic. So if traditional school isn't really helping you understand a subject, we can find a different (dare I say more fun?) way to approach it.
In addition to this, I'm currently working as an EMT to gain clinical exposure hours so I can apply to medical school. I'm actually doing this specifically to help pay for the application fees. Outside of work, I enjoy cosplay, Dungeons & Dragons, yoga, and ice skating.

I am most familiar with teaching students from elementary through high school, but I'm sure I could be helpful for college-level courses as well. In a typical lesson, I break down the topic into easy-to-understand components. We would then do activities or practice problems to check understanding, and then go back to work on any weak areas. I myself am applying to medical school, so if you also have medical school dreams I can help give you a solid foundation on understanding biology topics most commonly found on the MCAT.
