I am happy teaching Maths and Human Biology at GCSE and A-Level with as broad or specific a focus as the student requires. I like to teach in a way to give overall understanding and context while keeping the direction and focus of exams in mind. This, I feel, is a good way to give a solid overall understanding of the subject material in an efficient manner,allowing for conceptual understanding as well as the application of the material. This, of course, can be adapted to your needs to perfectly supplement your primary study.
Having got 100% in both Human Biology A-Level exams I know the importance of attention to detail in learning exam material as well as keeping the overall picture in mind to answer more unexpected questions. I feel that going over previously studied material regularly and efficiently can help to fix the knowledge in your mind and to progressively build up a good working knowledge of the field with conceptual ideas as well as the specifics and applications of the material.
